Our driver will pick you up directly at the lobby of your hotel, ready to take you for an enchanting day covering all the must-see sites!
My suggestion is discovering together all the highlights and more than three thousand years of history of the Eternal City, combining art to tradition.
We will start our tour visiting the Ancient area of Rome, the old Palace of the Emperor, the Colosseum (we can completely skip the line if you wanted to enter the arena) and the Roman forum.
Later we will continue with the Pantheon, the beautiful temple dedicated to the various gods (27 ac), passing by Piazza Venezia and the Foro Boario where in 44bc Julius Ceasar was killed by Brutus.
Absolutely we cannot miss the Trevi Fountain (for tossing the coin and coming back to Rome), the Spanish Steps and Navona Square for a great gelato.
We will visit a lot of beautiful and not so touristic places of this unique city also, like the Gianicolo hill for a breathtaking view of the city from above, the Michelangelo Moses located in the small church of S. Peter in Chains, Piazza di Malta rich in religious signs or the ancient Appian Way. Back to the Hotel around 4.30pm
Of course, we are entirely flexible – if there is a special place that you want to see, just let us know!
Note:
Please dress respectfully for visiting religious monuments; local custom requires covering knees and shoulder. Comfortable walking shoes recommended.
